Gramatik Announces New Red Rocks Show, RE:Coil!

One of Gramatik’s favorite venues, Red Rocks, will play host to RE:Coil this June!

For two year’s Blizzmatik was an epic show hosted by Gramatik at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. So, it should come as no surprise that he will be making a return to the legendary amphitheater this summer with an all-new support line-up and complete re-worked stage design for Re:Coil. Gramatik has invited an extremely talented trio to help him make this event unforgettable. Mr. Carmack will be bringing his vision that fills the undefined musical area between hip-hop and electronic music to Red Rocks. Ekali, the Canadian artist from Vancouver, who already has a writing credit on the latest Drake record will be joining them. Finally, Flamingosis, a music producer, beatboxer and DJ hailing from New Jersey will be hopping on the decks for a turn to show off his critically renowned sound.

The Nikola Tesla inspired stage will be making a re-appearance!

That’s right! The coil, with all of its aesthetic appeal, will be returning to center stage. The revamped design will be inspiring and symbolic of our departure from 2016. Many view last year in terms of the tragedies we sustained but also as a year that intensified feelings of pessimism for what the future holds. While we recoil from the previous shocks of last year, it is also a time to remember we can always harness the good which exists inside every one of us and continue to fight for a better world for all humanity.

Check out the video announcement for Re:Coil on YouTube:

Last year was an exceptional year for Gramatik, and 2017 is already looking bright!

The Slovenian producer/DJ teased his upcoming album throughout much of 2015. He would play pieces of it at some of the biggest venues and festivals in the world until he finally dropped Epigram LP in March of 2016. The album received wide acclaim from peers and critics alike. That was the starting point for Gramatik’s enormous worldwide tour in support of its release. The highlights of which would include an album release party at Zenith in Paris, Europe’s largest music festival Roskilde, and a New Year’s extravaganza with Bassnectar in Alabama.

About Gramatik:

Denis Jasarević, better known by his stage name Gramatik, is an electronic artist, musician, and producer from Portorož, Slovenia. His styles and influences are mostly a blend of dubstep, electro, trip hop, hip hop, and glitch. He grew up influenced by American hip hop artists like RZA, Dr. Dre, DJ Premier, Tupac and European electronic scene and music of the early 2000’s. Gramatik has released nine albums, three EPs, numerous singles and remixes, and was nominated for a European MTV Music Award in 2014. In 2013 he established his own record label, Lowtemp, allowing him to further realize his idea of music being a free medium. Soon after the launch Lowtemp started signing aspiring artists from all over the world.

2014 was a breakthrough year for Gramatik in Europe where he gained the level of attention he has seen throughout North America. On his three worldwide tours in support of Epigram, TAOR, and the LYM campaign, he performed to many sold out crowds in cities including Paris, New York, Chicago, Amsterdam, Berlin, Zurich, Munich, Copenhagen, Brussels, Red Rocks in Colorado, and huge crowds at major festivals like Lollapalooza, Coachella, Lollapalooza South America, Austin City Limits, Ultra, Bonnaroo, BUKU, Electric Forest, Electric ZOO, Decadence, Rock En Seine, Sziget, Sonar, Dour, and Glastonbury, amongst many.

In 2016, he released his latest album Epigram, followed by the extended Epigram Deluxe release with remixes and unreleased instrumentals at the end of the year. With many dates already announced and music collaborations in the works, 2017 looks to be another banner year for Gramatik.
