UK DJ and producer Chewna is fresh off the release of the Set You Free EP and has dropped a mix showcasing his dynamic house-meets-UKG style.
If you’re on the hunt for a fresh face in the scene who can deliver a dose of uplifting dancefloor grooves to your speakers, look no further than Chewna. This UK-based DJ and producer has already begun to plant his flag in other parts of the planet, such as Ibiza and Abu Dhabi, bringing his sensational mixing and curation with him. He’s also impressed in the studio, dropping a flurry of releases in 2025 that found homes on imprints including Perfect Havoc, Castle Collective, and Unlearn:Records.
As Chewna continues his journey into 2026, there’s plenty for his new fans to be excited about. First is his return to Abu Dhabi, where he’ll play in support of Mark Knight. Second is his recently released EP, Set You Free, which landed on Lotusland earlier this month. This fresh collection of tunes from Chewna shows off the direction he’s taking his sound, leaning a bit more into UKG with bumping basslines that will make your heart thud and feet move.
Already seeing loads of support, including some love from legendary tastemaker Pete Tong, it’s clear that Chewna is off to a roaring start this year. Adding to the fun, he dropped off a mix for the Winter Waveforms series that keeps the energy pumping as the temperatures remain chillier than ever.
This mix is me properly enjoying where my music’s at right now. I’ve packed it with records I’m genuinely excited to play, a couple of my own recent releases that I’ve been rinsing in sets, plus some unreleased stuff I’ve been sitting on and couldn’t wait to share.
