Armada Music, Experts Only, Prodigy Artists, Revealed Recordings, Neon Owl, mau5trap, WME, and more are among the brands announced for programming at SHIFT Miami this year.
Miami Music Week is drawing closer by the day, and with it will come a new conference that is looking to shake up the industry landscape: SHIFT Miami. This multi-day, multi-venue event in South Beach is set to take place from March 24-27 and intends to showcase where the dance music scene is headed. Dashing the traditional conference style, SHIFT Miami plans to offer intimate insider sessions, direct networking and feedback opportunities, and access to exclusive events, capped off by the Electronic Dance Music Awards (EDMAs).
While details remained limited after SHIFT Miami announced its dates last year, today brought added insight into what’s in store for those who plan to attend as the first wave of programming has been revealed. Labels such as Armada Music, Ophelia Records, Experts Only, mau5trap, Atlantic Records, and Revealed Recordings will be present, along with management and PR firms including WME, Liason Artists, Red Light Management, Midas Touch Management, and Unfolded PR. These companies will be bringing a variety of interactive panels, demo drops, and fireside chats to SHIFT Miami.
While much of SHIFT Miami is geared toward artists and industry professionals, anyone who desires to learn more about the scene can attend. So whether you’re an aspiring producer looking to make their break or a fan who wants to dig deeper into the processes that develop your favorite DJs, you’re more than welcome.
The SHIFT Access Pass, effectively GA, includes admission to all SHIFT events, networking opportunities, and demo drop sessions, as well as access to the SHIFT Artist Discovery Vault to upload your music to. Those who upgrade to the SHIFT VIP Access Pass receive automatic reserved access to daytime programming, guaranteed seating where applicable, access to VIP-only networking areas, and a VIP liaison to help with scheduling and on-site coordination. Both pass types grant entry to the Thursday SHIFT pool party and the EDMA’s pool party at The Clevelander, with VIP passes allowing holders to skip the line.
