Excision, GRiZ, ALLEYCVT, Sammy Virji, Chris Lake, and Illenium are among the first headliners announced for Electric Forest 2026.
Last week, Electric Forest announced that its 2026 edition would once again take place in Rothbury, Michigan, from June 25-28. But the lineup is always the real conversation starter. And now that the initial one has been released, let’s discuss.
Electric Forest always bills no shortage of bass music, and next year’s lineup shows that the organizers know their audience well. In the biggest font size, names like Excision, GRiZ, and Illenium leap from the graphic — even though the latter has dabbled in house music as of late.
Speaking of which, artists specializing in four-on-the-floor rhythms are also present and accounted for on the Electric Forest 2026 lineup. Between Chris Lake, Disco Lines, and Kaskade, house music fans have plenty to look forward to when they make the pilgrimage to Double JJ Ranch.
Sammy Virji will ensure that UK garage has some representation at the festival, and LSDREAM will be playing under his LIGHTCODE ambient alias. DJ Diesel will once again play back-to-back alongside T-Pain after the two first shared the stage at Lost Lands 2025, while Eli Brown will add a necessary dose of techno to the festivities.
Of course, The String Cheese Incident is on the bill; the jam band has performed at almost every edition of the festival since it was first held under the name Rothbury Festival in 2008. Over the years, Electric Forest has held a special place in the hearts of music fans for its signature fusion of jam and electronic with pop, hip-hop, and rock sprinkled in.
