SHAQ’s Bass All-Stars Festival is returning to Panther Island Pavilion for its third year, with promises of an expanded production and a bustling lineup of bass talent.
When Shaquille O’Neal retired from basketball, he needed something to fill the adrenaline void he was now missing. Enter DJing and bass music. It made for an easy segue, and the larger-than-life DJ Diesel is now hosting the largest bass festival in Texas. SHAQ’s Bass All-Star Festival is set to land in the Dallas-Fort Worth area at Panther Island Pavilion on Saturday, March 21, for an insane day of epic bass, interactive brand activations, and even more pyrotechnics, making it the craziest edition yet.
The big man himself curates SHAQ’s Bass All-Stars. A community-driven event, it features top-tier and up-and-coming bass talent hand-picked by SHAQ. They’ll take over the Main Stage and Trenches stages, the latter of which is a SHAQ innovation. It’s a 360-degree stage that puts fans directly in the thick of things. No sidelines, no separation. You are part of the performance.
Keeping things grimy on the main stage is SHAQ himself, under his alias, DJ DIESEL. His pulsating trap and dubstep heaters will rattle bones only the way he can, spanning original tracks, remixes, and well-known beats. He’ll be joined by some Bass All-Star regulars like Levity going back-to-back with Wooli, along with Jessica Audiffred, GorillaT, DRINKURWATER, SHAQ & Friends, plus a special guest headliner that’s still to be announced.
Fans can alternate their time between the chaotic mainstage and the Trenches, which include performances from All The Reason, Whales, Tynan, Celo b2b Neotek, Ivory, and Dream Takers. It wouldn’t be a SHAQ production, though, if there weren’t a surprise or three on the horizon.
Everything’s bigger in Texas — so this year we are making SHAQ’s Bass All Stars our biggest festival yet. The production is bigger, the lineup is bigger, and the entire festival experience will be on another level. We level up every year — and this one’s going to shake the ground.
