Ring in the new year in San Francisco at Fresh Start 2026 with John Summit, Purple Disco Machine, Layton Giordani, Nala, and more artists to be announced.
One of San Francisco’s mainstay New Year’s celebrations is coming back better than ever next year. On January 1, 2026, Fresh Start will transport attendees away with exciting new updates, including a new, expanded venue and theme. Say goodbye to just The Midway and extraterrestrial friends in space, and say hello to Pier 80 and a “mystic playground where fantasy and dance collide.”
Today, Fresh Start revealed that it will expand its footprint in year seven, with the festival now hosted at three full venues: Pier 80, The Midway, and 888 Garage. Each will be a unique, immersive environment with top-of-the-line production. Fans of Portola Festival will recognize Pier 80’s massive warehouse stage, which has welcomed incredible talent over the festival’s last three years. We are excited to see how Fresh Start will transform the space to fit the mysterious, mystical vibe. And while attendees can still bop around the main Midway space, their newest warehouse area, 888 Garage, will provide a more intimate experience.
With the announcement of Fresh Start’s return comes its initial wave of artists. John Summit, Purple Disco Machine, and Layton Giordani, three heavy hitters who need no introduction, stick out immediately at the top. Whether it’s main stage house energy, funky disco grooves, or dark, hypnotic techno, you’ll be set to ring in the new year however you like. Joining them are Roddy Lima, Nala, and KILO.wav, with more artists to be announced across three additional stages.
The presale for Fresh Start 2026 begins Wednesday, November 12, at 10am PT. To register for presale tickets, visit the official Fresh Start 2026 website and keep an eye on their socials for more announcements!
