Damelo Delivers A Dose Of Summer Vibes In New Mix

Miami-based artist Damelo has been dropping pure heat in the house scene, and he swung by with the perfect mix for parties during the final weeks of summer.

If there’s one city in the US that’s been churning out some of the best and brightest stars in the house scene lately, it’d be Miami. Artists who call the South Florida city home seem to continually channel the sexy heat found in the region into their releases and performances, all of which make dancefloors swoon. Amidst the growing number of DJs who have made a home in Miami is Damelo, and he’s quickly become one to keep your ear tuned to.

Releases on Andhera Records, Grooved Selects, Farris Wheel, Deeperfect, and Techaway Records have helped define Damelo’s rise through the ranks of the scene. While he’s flexed his tech house and Latin influences during this time, his most recent EP, Body Language, has put his twist on minimal house on full display. Out now on Ilario Alicante’s Sound D’Elite, it’s a three-track ride that’s well worth a listen. More recently, he teamed up with Vampire Sex to drop another banger, “Party Sober,” which landed on Moon Child.

The fresh tunes are just one aspect of Damelo’s fantastic summer, as he’s been on a tear with his sets in recent months. Appearances at Club Space in Miami, The Snow Lodge in Aspen, Silo in Brooklyn, and Spybar in Chicago are just some of the stops he’s made in the US. But that wasn’t all for Damelo, as he crossed the pond to perform multiple times in Ibiza, including an appearance during Joseph Capriati’s Metamorfosi residency at Hï Ibiza.
