The Tomorrowland Expo will celebrate the festival’s themes and history during Amsterdam Dance Event this fall.
Are you ready to dive into the magic that is Tomorrowland? Well, you’ll have to head to the heart of Amsterdam to take that sensory trip alongside the People of Tomorrow. The Tomorrowland Expo returns to the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) from Wednesday, October 22 to Saturday, October 25.
The free, four-day expo transforms the historic De Rode Hoed venue into a voyage down the memory lane of Tomorrowland. This experience aims to guide visitors through the evolution of the iconic festival, from its humble beginnings to its current global phenomenon it is today.
The renowned music festival first kicked off in 2005. In its first year, Tomorrowland drew 10,000 people to Boom, Belgium. More than two decades later, the festival brand has become a powerhouse in the music festival scene, bringing hundreds of thousands of festival-goers from more than 200 countries to Amsterdam annually. The world’s largest dance music festival producers are continuing the momentum with Tomorrowland editions in France and Brazil.
Those checking out Tomorrowland Expo can take a peek at this historic journey at ADE and get an insider view of the special behind-the-scenes work that goes into creating the iconic festival. In addition, the Tomorrowland Expo gives visitors a deeper explanation of the origin of past themes, including this year’s, Orbyz. The backstory of Orbyz crystallizes the festival organizers’ creativity as it’s set in a magical universe made entirely out of ice.
On display will also be a Tomorrowland first: its debut comic, The Odes of Orbyz. Released ahead of this year’s edition and available now via the online Tomorrowland store, the graphic novel chronicles the “complete origin story” of the official theme.
But the story doesn’t end there. Tomorrowland Expo hits all of the sensory notes by featuring MORPHO’s collection of design furniture and objects, a memorable scent for purchase in Tomorrowland’s Elixir of Life perfume, and palette-pleasing cocktails at the Solo Vida Bar. Additionally, official merchandise from the festival will be sold at the on-site store.
Las Vegas will also leave its mark on Amsterdam, as Tomorrowland Expo is set to offer attendees a closer look at UNITY, which is set to debut at Sphere Las Vegas this summer. In collaboration with Insomniac, this event series will take over the futuristic venue for four weekends in Sin City, providing ticketed guests with an immersive experience followed by electrifying performances.
A full, explosive experience detailing the inner workings of a global sensation, the Tomorrowland Expo, is an experience worth checking out. Head over to Tomorrowland’s official website for more details about the returning expo.
