John Summit is taking over Randall’s Island in September with Kaskade, Cassian, Layton Giordani, Green Velvet, and more for the debut edition of Experts Only Festival.
While New York City has always been considered a premier nightlife hotspot, the disastrous final edition of Electric Zoo in 2023 and the recent string of Brooklyn Mirage cancellations have left many of the city’s ravers feeling disillusioned. John Summit is aiming to fill the void in the city’s dance music scene by teaming up with Medium Rare, Relentless Beats, and EMW to bring his first Experts Only Festival to Randall’s Island on September 20-21.
The debut edition of Experts Only Festival NYC will see over 15 artists across two stages. In addition to two headlining John Summit sets, attendees can enjoy back-to-back performances featuring Kaskade and Cassian, Green Velvet and Layton Giordani, and Enamour and Weska. Additionally, Kasablanca is slated to bring their live show to the festival, as well as artists including LP Giobbi, AYYBO, DJ Seinfeld, Roddy Lima, Pete Tong, Tony Y Not, TEED, and more.
Randall’s Island will be transformed into a one-of-a-kind festival experience that weekend, featuring interactive brand activations, diverse food and beverage options, and state-of-the-art stage designs, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Manhattan skyline. LIV at Fontainebleau Las Vegas and Miami Beach, where John Summit hosts residencies, will also be present with their LIV Skydeck experience featuring private VIP tables and bottle service.
Two-day GA passes start at $199.99, while VIP passes start at $499.99 for those who want access to the VIP Main Stage Lounge, premium viewing areas, a dedicated entrance, unique food options, and more. Two-day Platinum Tickets, priced at $1,499.99, include all the perks of VIP, as well as an open bar, access to a Platinum-only viewing area, and the Backstage Industry Lounge. Single-day passes will also be available.
John Summit’s Experts Only brand has been lauded for its fresh releases, which spotlight a range of talent, and its innovative events at unique locations, such as Vail’s ski slopes or The Caverns in Tennessee. Now, the first-ever festival for the blossoming brand will see it reach even greater heights. The last time John Summit was in NYC, tickets for his Madison Square Garden show sold out in under three minutes.
