RVTLN just announced Desert Moon, a massive two-day bass event in Reno with artists like ATLiens, Sullivan King, FuntCase, GHENGAR, Habstrakt, and more.

Reno has an electronic music scene that shines when given the opportunity, but one that yearns for more. Ravers in the “The Biggest Little City in the World” are looking for their next big event to keep them satisfied, and RVLTN is looking to deliver. Recent months have seen the Las Vegas-based promoter book standalone shows in Reno, and now they’ve announced their most significant event in the city to date: Desert Moon.

Desert Moon is a massive two-day bass-fueled event that will take place on September 26-27 in the heart of Reno at Reno City Plaza. Much akin to their standalone shows, it will feature some of the hottest names in bass music today. Headlining the debut edition of this event is guitar-shredding metal-infused artist Sullivan King on Friday and intergalactic dubstep duo ATLiens on Saturday.

The other artists on the stacked lineup include some bass veterans like FuntCase, GHENGAR, Habstrakt, and Midnight Tyrannosaurus. There will also be some fresh faces and up-and-comers slated to take the stage, like Rated R, Seth David, dubstep duo Pretty Sweet, and the ever-electric PYKE. The local support consists of Kill Your Utopia and JARS.

This massive announcement from RVLTN is an exciting development in a scene that shows out every time, and it could be a sign of things to come in Reno. Bass heads will surely have a ton to look forward to in September, when they can headbang under the beautiful desert moon.

Don’t miss your chance to headbang the night away! Tickets for this epic two-day bass extravaganza go on sale on Friday, June 20, at 12pm PT on SeeTickets. Head to the official website for more details.

He realized that tech house gave him life, and quickly grew a great appreciation of many other genres as well. Some of his favorite artists include Matroda, Mau P, San Pacho, Chase & Status, and San Jose hometown hero Svdden Death. Now located in Denver, he frequently attends shows and takes full pride in living in the “Bass Capital”. If you ever see somebody dancing or headbanging at the rails wearing an Indianapolis Colts jersey, there's a good chance it's him.
