Nostalgia ran rampant during Alesso’s set on Friday night, with a touch of modernism. While his beloved classics like Heroes (We Could Be), Pressure, and Under Control rang out over the speakers, a customized drone show played overhead, depicting statements like “Alesso Loves EDC” with a heart. Gesaffelstein took the stage at cosmicMEADOW for his first-ever performance at EDC Las Vegas. Flocks of headliners mobbed to the grassy fields and bleachers at this stage to witness the brooding prince of darkness himself take over the decks. With the fireworks going off as well behind cosmicMEADOW and a drone show you could see from the stands, Gesaffelstein’s set was the place to be early Sunday morning. Although a few sound issues occurred, the artist carried on and delivered a bold, dynamic performance fit for EDC Las Vegas.

A surprising slot on the lineup, Mike Posner was the perfect way to kick off our final day at EDC Las Vegas. Steve Aoki made an appearance to perform his new remix, and Posner even teased a new dubstep release with PROSECUTE. Fans went crazy when Posner performed “Cooler Than Me,” a highly-anticipated moment that brought us all back to 2010.
