Look at Photos of [UNVRS] Before the Ibiza "Hyperclub" Opens

The grand opening of a nightclub the size of [UNVRS] is a major affair in Ibiza. Entrepreneur Yann Pissenem first sparked public interest in the new “hyperclub” with a viral video featuring Will Smith. Now, he’s keeping the conversation going ahead of its May 30 grand opening by releasing a handful of photos of the new space.

The images show an architectural concept that marries modern brutalism with an Art Deco aesthetic. Starkly contrasting with the angular structure is a massive geodesic dome that offers picturesque views of the surrounding city, as well as verdant greenery that frames the whole of the space. Many of the production elements are modular and can be customized to best fulfill each event’s specific needs. Inside, the club features mirrored corridors and an L-Acoustics sound system.

[UNVRS] is the brainchild of The Night League, a nightlife brand founded by Pissenem in 2001. It was famously also responsible for White Isle superclubs like Ushuaïa Ibiza and Hï Ibiza.

The space that now belongs to [UNVRS] has a long and storied history. It originally housed Ku Club from 1979-1995, a beloved fixture of Ibiza’s LGBTQIA+ community. From 1995 to 2019, it operated under the name Privilege, hosting artists like Tiësto, Pete Tong, and Gorgon City.

The highly-anticipated grand opening of [UNVRS] on May 30 will feature performances from headliners like Carl Cox, Michael Bibi, Carista, and Adam Ten. Residencies for the 2025 season include major artists such as Anyma, Jamie Jones, and Eric Prydz.
