The University of Colorado Boulder’s Folsom Field will play host to superstar DJ and producer John Summit this fall.
John Summit is taking a page out of Illenium’s book. Nearly two years ago, the latter artist broke the record for the most-attended single-headliner concert when he drew a record 76,000 people to Empower Field at Mile High in Denver. Now, reformed benderist John Summit has announced that he will be the sole performer at an October 18 gathering at Folsom Field in Boulder.
A press release notes that it’s the “largest solo headline show of his career,” and John Summit (real name John Schuster) himself called it “MY BIGGEST SHOW OF THE YEAR” on Instagram. “From 8k at Red Rocks in 2023 to a full 40k stadium this time in Colorado,” he continued. “Boulder how tf we feelin baby?”
Folsom Field has a capacity of 50,000 and is located on the University of Colorado Boulder campus. It has previously played host to acts like The Rolling Stones, Phish, and ODESZA. But a 1977 concert featuring Fleetwood Mac, Bob Seger, Firefall, and John Sebastian stands out as the biggest ever for having drawn a crowd of 61,500.
Love him or hate him, Schuster is one of the most influential DJs in dance music today. His career began to gain significant momentum thanks to his 2020 single “Deep End,” and further hits include “Where You Are” and “Shivers,” both featuring HAYLA, as well as “Go Back” with Sub Focus. In March, Schuster’s Experts Only label announced its 2025 residency at Hï Ibiza.
Register for presale to John Summit’s single-headliner Folsom Field debut, and look out for artist presale to go live on May 13, CU Boulder student presale and local presale to begin on May 14, and general presale to start on May 15.
