Factory 93 Launches New Event Series, Fixture

Factory 93 continues to expand with a newly announced event series centered on supporting club culture, Fixture.

Insomniac’s Factory 93 has left an undeniable mark on the house and techno scene over the past decade. Since its launch, the brand has grown from one-off parties in Los Angeles and stage takeovers to one that hosts its own festivals and showcases quality music through its label. Now, Factory 93 is adding another chapter to its legacy with the launch of Fixture, a queer-forward and community-driven brand that intends to celebrate club culture.

While Factory 93’s shows have featured larger-than-life headliners in recent years, Fixture is a shift toward culture-forward programming that holds space for innovators moving the needle.

“With the global house and techno scene ballooning so rapidly in recent years, we felt it crucial to create space to invite and collaborate with those who truly propel underground culture and sounds,” the team behind Fixture shared. “As the sounds have grown in prominence, the communities that influence/create them and the subsequent scenes should be recognized for their innovation, and Fixture is our mission to do just that.”

Fixture’s mission is prominently put on display with its debut show, which is set to feature Chippy Nonstop and her Pep Rally party in collaboration with Los Angeles promoter SORBET. Joining in on the fun is Berlin-based artist LSDXOXO, who will perform a rare live set, along with REDLINERS and a back-to-back set featuring SORBET founder Shane Thomas and resident Miracles. Mark your calendar for June 21, as that’s when you’ll want to head to Lot 613 to catch all the action.

Additionally, Fixture’s commitment to showcasing art can be seen in the initial imagery that the brand has posted. They’ve collaborated with Serbian artist Marko Vuleta-Djukanov, aka Floating Bstrd, who draws inspiration from the ’80s and ’90s in his graphic design while simultaneously running a nightclub in Belgrade.
