Armin Van Buuren To Kick Off Ushuaïa Ibiza Residency With Rare Extended Set

Armin van Buuren will launch his nine-week residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza with a six-hour, open-to-close set on one night only.

After more than three decades of pioneering trance music on a global scale, Armin van Buuren is returning to Ushuaïa Ibiza this summer not to only warm up the crowd, but to own it. On June 8, the legendary icon will take over the open-air venue for his opening performance with something rare: a six-hour open-to-close set that will offer the fans a deep, immersive journey through his music. From 5-11pm, fans can enjoy the golden hour and the magic of the White Isle while dancing alongside the Dutch DJ’s timeless classics and fresh gems.

While Armin van Buuren is no stranger to the biggest stages, such curated and extended performances remain rare in his career. “I don’t do open-to-close sets often, but when I do, it’s because the moment calls for it,” he said. “Ushuaïa Ibiza is one of the most iconic venues in the world, and Ibiza holds a special place in my heart. Kicking off the summer with an extended solo set — this feels like the perfect way to begin the season.”

For nine weeks this summer, fans can catch Armin van Buuren in action at the megaclub every Sunday from June 8 – July 6, and September 7-28. Each week, he will be joined by a stellar lineup of guest artists, ranging from top-tier talents to longtime collaborators.
