The artists at Lightning in a Bottle 2025 are bringing the wubs, the feels, the funk, and then some. These are the sets you do not want to miss.

Lightning in a Bottle is truly more than a festival — it’s an experience. From mesmerizing, immersive art installations and live painters to a stacked lineup of artists spanning every corner of electronic music, LIB offers endless opportunities to explore, connect, and create unforgettable memories.

Curated by the iconic Do LaB, the festival makes its annual and epic return to Buena Vista Lake in Kern County, California. With Labor Day Weekend only weeks away, we’re all anxiously awaiting the set times to drop.

From mainstage heavyweights like John Summit, Subtronics, TroyBoi, and the return of legend Claude VonStroke, to bass scene favorites like Kurei, Sumthin Sumthin, and more taking over The Stacks, set conflicts are guaranteed. So lace up your rave boots — here are the artists at the top of my must-see list for LIB 2025.

Tickets and camping passes for Lightning in a Bottle 2025 are on sale now. Head to the official website for more information and to make your purchase.

I’ve been dying to see this genre-blending powerhouse ever since I stumbled across her track “Everything is Energy” and her Infrasound 2024 set on YouTube. She isn’t afraid to push boundaries with her sound — whether it’s at massive festivals or in intimate club settings. From acid-drenched basslines and housey rhythms to filthy wubs and classic dubstep drops, her set will be the moment you won’t want to miss.

Beyond her talent as a DJ and producer, she’s also making a real impact as the DJ curriculum director at FEMME HOUSE. This national nonprofit creates opportunities for women, gender-expansive, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ creatives in the technical and behind-the-scenes sides of music.

The intricate soundscapes of Jade Cicada have been blasting on repeat from my speakers, and I am so excited to finally have the chance to catch his set. Defying conventional boundaries, his music delivers an atmospheric blend of glitch-hop, UK bass, and ambient textures, fully immersing you in an auditory and visual journey that feels truly otherworldly.

It’s no surprise he’s listed as a special guest on the LIB 2025 lineup. His live performances embody the multi-sensory magic that makes the festival so unforgettable, and his DJ set is sure to be one of the most captivating of the weekend.

The first time I saw Dimond Saints was at my very first Nocturnal Wonderland in 2016, and I was absolutely blown away by their sound. The Oakland-based duo are renowned for their genre-defying style that blends elements of future bass and hip-hop seamlessly with tribal rhythms, creating a sound that feels like a full-blown spiritual experience. It’s both ethereal and dark, with ultra-layered soundscapes that are entirely unique and true to their identity.

I was heartbroken to hear about the passing of their longtime friend and collaborator Jacqueline, also known as Yaarrohs. I first discovered her hauntingly beautiful vocals on their track “IDGAF,” which happened to be the song that got me into their music in the first place. According to their Instagram, they’ll be creating something special in her honor during their set this year — a tribute I’m sure will be deeply emotional and powerful.

Sama' Abdulhadi

One of my favorite sets at CRSSD 2023 was from none other than Sama’ Abdulhadi. I was wandering the festival when I was stopped dead in my tracks, completely drawn in by her alluring, driving techno beats.

I knew I was witnessing something truly special. The pioneering Palestinian DJ and producer has quickly become one of my favorites in the scene thanks to her signature blend of relentless basslines and sharp synths. Her sets create an atmospheric experience that nods to global influences while staying rooted in Berlin-style techno.

Beyond her incredible talent behind the decks, Sama’ is deeply committed to fostering the electronic music scene in Palestine. She founded the Union Collective to provide a platform for Palestinian DJs and help create safe, inclusive spaces for creative expression.

Four Tet

As a longtime fan of Four Tet, it’s been incredible to witness his musical evolution over the years — especially watching a new wave of fans discover his brilliance through his collaborations and that legendary Coachella 2023 set with Skrillex and Fred Again.. Also, hello?! That “Country Riddim” drop went absolutely crazy!

The British producer has been a personal favorite since his earlier releases like “Baby” and “Angel Echoes,” where he masterfully blended dancefloor energy with atmospheric, experimental textures. His use of bells, airy vocal loops, and steady midtempo 4/4 kicks has become a signature throughout his discography.

Most recently, I was excited to catch his tour stop at the Hollywood Palladium, where he teamed up with Squid Soup to create a fully immersive, multi-sensory experience. Lights were suspended throughout the venue, enveloping the crowd in a mesmerizing display as Four Tet performed in a 360° setup. It made for an unforgettable fusion of sound, space, and emotion.
