Mere hours after the curtain call of this year’s event, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival announced its 2026 dates and ticket on-sale.
There’s no denying the influence of Coachella Music and Arts Festival on the worldwide festival ecosystem. It may not be the first large-scale gathering of the year — but its production, bookings, and curation inform those of promoters in the months to follow. Coachella is sparing no time sparking interest in its 2026 edition, announcing that it will run across two weekends from April 10-12 and 17-19 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
The Goldenvoice-run festival announced the dates early this morning — only a few hours after Polo & Pan and XG closed out this year’s gathering on the Outdoor Theatre and Sahara stages, respectively. On Instagram, organizers shared a stop motion-animated depiction of the SPECTRA viewing deck alongside the most pertinent details. Its caption notes that the Advance Sale is slated to begin at 11am PT on Friday, May 2.
No details of the Coachella 2026 lineup have been shared at the time of writing, and the Advance Sale allows attendees to secure their tickets at the lowest price before any headliners are announced. Last year, organizers dropped the full 2025 lineup in November, earlier than they had at any other point in the festival’s history. This followed a relatively late 2024 lineup reveal that forced other event organizers to delay their own announcements on account of Coachella’s famously prohibitive contract terms.
Coachella Music and Arts Festival debuted in 1999, originally across two days. Tickets to the festival first sold out in 2004, and 2024 was the first time tickets failed to sell out since 2008 amid indicators of an ailing festival market.
Tickets to Coachella Music and Arts Festival 2026 will be available throught the Advance Sale at 11am PT on Friday, May 2. Sign up to get updates on the event website.
