Off The Grid Campout will not take place in Austin this year. The organizers announced their efforts are focused on the Southern California edition in the fall.
True Entertainment‘s Off The Grid Campout has been a destination for many who crave quality curation and a strong community vibe. Most known for the editions in Southern California, the brand expanded to Texas last year and planted its flag in Austin with a deep lineup over two days. Off The Grid Campout Austin intended to return for another round this April, but today, their team announced that it will not take place as planned.
“After much thought and consideration, we’ve made the tough decision to cancel this year’s Off The Grid Campout Austin,” the statement from their team said on social media. “This wasn’t an easy call, but we’re dedicated to preserving the sacred energy of this event and ensuring that every OTG experience stays true to what we stand for.”
This year’s edition of Off The Grid Campout Austin was set to feature Justin Martin, Doc Martin, DJ Sneak, Georgie Riot, London Elecktricity, AIRGLO, Nightstalker, Soohan, Doorly, and more.
Off The Grid Campout isn’t leaving those who purchased passes for the Austin edition out to dry, all ticket holders who had made a purchase will be fully refunded. Additionally, this doesn’t mean that they’re leaving the city entirely, as they revealed they’ll be shifting gears to host one-off events in the area to keep the OTG spirit alive.
The OTG team also mentioned that their energy will now be set on the upcoming edition of Off The Grid Campout in Southern California, which is set to return on October 9-13 in Apple Valley Ranch, California. This year’s edition will take place at their new home, the OTG Ranch, with a lineup that’s still to be announced. Head to SeeTickets to grab passes if you plan to attend.
