Rising DJ mal eny is taking San Diego’s scene by storm and spun a techno-fueled mix to help you get through the final days of winter.

San Diego has become renowned for its vibrant house and techno scene, and mal eny is staking her claim as a DJ you should keep your ears tuned to. While her roots in the community were planted well before the pandemic, she’s grown even more since then with impressive sets that showcase her dynamic range as a DJ. Her influences – which range from house and techno to club and everything in between – allow her to be versatile behind the decks and helped her turn heads of promoters and fans alike.

The past few years have seen mal eny play Love Long Beach Festival and multiple shows throughout San Diego hosted at venues like Bang Bang, Hole In The Wall, and The Office. She’s roared into 2025 with plenty of energy as well, having recently received the honor of performing during Dance Klassique‘s 25th Anniversary at Spin Nightclub in support of the deep house brand’s residents and Desert Hearts co-founder Porky.

While mal eny flexed her house side behind the decks at her recent set at Spin, she also has a techno side that is just as impressive and wanted to show that off for our final Winter Waveforms mix of the year. It’s three hours of hypnotic techno heat that’s sure to help guide you into the final days of the season and emerge in the spring months feeling renewed.
