Seizing on the momentum of his comeback announcement, GRiZ has shared the full lineup for the brand-new Seven Stars Festival.
GRiZ clearly had a plan for his long-awaited comeback. The Detroit DJ, producer, and instrumentalist dropped hints suggesting that he had a three-day event in the works for October 10-12. He has now shared the full lineup for what we know to be called Seven Stars Festival in Arrington, Virginia.
The “cosmic campout,” as it’s billed, consists of 67 world-class EDM acts. Representing the heavy dubstep end of the spectrum are Subtronics, Wooli, and Level Up, while artists like Daily Bread, Crawdad Sniper, Tape B, and Of The Trees hail from the headier end of the spectrum.
The Seven Stars Festival 2025 lineup also features house music acts like Disco Lines, J.Worra, option4, and Justin Jay. The Funk Hunters will bring their fusion of disco, funk, and hip-hop to the table, and the ever-eclectic Mary Droppinz will take the audience on a sonic journey likely to be a little harder to categorize.
Of course, attendees can also look forward to seeing GRiZ (real name Grant Kwiecinski) himself perform. In fact, he’s slated to play three separate sets. It remains to be seen whether he’s planning to deliver a separate experience for each one or simply intends to improvise on the spot.
“So for me, getting the squad together, going out on a trip, exploring on random side quests, seeing music, dancing, being completely unserious, discovering something that blows your mind, meeting and connecting with good people, all that and just existing as you are in a safe place where you can fully tap into the energy of it all without any of the other bs is one of the best feelings in the world,” wrote Kwiecinski in an Instagram post.
“I have always dreamed of creating my version of that to share with you since i first ever went to my first festival manyyyyy years ago (i am an old man now lolol),” he continued. “After years and years of planning, dreaming that up im like dang.. WE ARE FINALLY ACTUALLY DOING IT!!”
