The Beatport Awards to Return to IMS Ibiza This Spring

The Beatport Awards will be held at IMS Ibiza on April 24, honoring exceptional achievements in the electronic music industry.

Before the summer months get into full swing with parties all over Ibiza, industry members flock there to educate themselves and network during the International Music Summit (IMS). This multi-day conference features speakers, workshops, and more, making it a go-to destination for anyone who wants to advance their knowledge of the scene and be on the cutting-edge of what’s happening. This year’s edition of IMS Ibiza is set to take place on April 23-25, and today, Beatport announced that The Beatport Awards will return to cap off the weekend.

The Beatport Awards successfully reemerged from a lengthy hiatus last year, and its upcoming edition will once again honor top artists, brands, and industry members. These awards are rooted in the sales data from Beatport, panels of judges, and fan voting that will take place in the weeks leading up to the show on April 25.

Nominees for this year’s edition of The Beatport Awards include major artists and rising acts like Chase & Status, salute, Sara Landry, Charlotte de Witte, VTSS, and Carlita, among others. Labels such as Moonchild, Black Lizard Records, Mama Told Ya, ARTCORE Records, TraTraTrax, and more have also received nods in the Label To Watch and Hype Label Of The Year categories. Additionally, festivals that have gained nominations in the sole category include Tomorrowland and Movement Detroit.
