ANNA, W&W, and Astropical appear on the lineup for Empire Music Festival, which is marking its ten-year anniversary by partnering with Insomniac for the first time.
Dance music fans throughout Latin America are sure to flock to Empire Music Festival at Jardín de la Libertad in Villa Canales, Guatemala on May 2-3. Its organizers — who have announced their first-ever partnership with US promoter Insomniac on the event — have ensured as much by sharing a 2025 lineup with significant draw.
Topping the bill are EDM globetrotters like Dutch Moroccan big room fixture R3HAB, Dutch mainstagers W&W, and Mexican American electro house DJ and producer Deorro. Accompanying them in the biggest font are Latin American singer-songwriters like Gabito Ballesteros from Mexico, Astropical (members of Bomba Estereo and Rawayana) from Colombia and Venezuela, respectively, and Omar Courtz from Puerto Rico.
House and techno also feature heavily on the Empire Music Festival 2025 lineup courtesy of Brazilian techno artist ANNA, Spanish tech house mainstay Hector Couto, and US duo Kasablanca. Among the other touring acts slated to perform at the ten-year anniversary are Fedde Le Grand, Julian Jordan, Coone, and Showtek.
That’s not to overshadow the extensive array of local talent billed for the gathering. Between the likes of Di WAV, Anita Guzmán, Meberly, Nico Falla, and a back-to-back set between Ale Q and Pako Rodriguez, no shortage of Guatemalan artists will deliver sets for those interested in taking in the country’s distinct flavor.
This isn’t the first time Insomniac has partnered with a promoter abroad. Last year, the promotional juggernaut best known for its Electric Daisy Carnival event brand announced that it would team up with German outfit Time Warp to help it organize events in the US.
Tickets are on sale now and start at Q735 ($96 USD) for a two-day pass. Purchase yours and find additional information on the Empire Music Festival website.
