Soraya Warms Souls with a Fiery Winter Mix from NYE

Rising DJ and producer Soraya debuted in Las Vegas at AREA15 to help close the year in style at their New Year’s Eve Masquerade event, and she dropped off the mix for the world to hear!

San Diego continues to be a hotbed for talented artists in the electronic music realm, and Soraya is quickly becoming a DJ who you simply need to see for yourself. She’s been honing her skills behind the decks over the past few years, landing gigs at venues all over Southern California and delivering her sultry soundscapes along the way. Some highlights from 2024 included her debut at Day Trip, along with additional sets at Camino Riviera for Music Is 4 Lovers, Spin Nightclub for FNGRS CRSSD, and more, but she had one more performance up her sleeve last year with a debut set in Las Vegas at AREA15 on NYE.

“I couldn’t ask for more than having my debut in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve,” Soraya said about her recent show. “It was absolutely incredible playing there for the first time and the team and the crowd at AREA15 are amazing. Playing with Eli & Fur was also such a pleasure. They have always inspired me and been nothing but kind to me over the years — so it was really fun to play on a lineup of badass women.”

2025 is already shaping up to be an incredible year, and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve been putting in countless hours in the studio over the past few months, and I’m finally ready to share some original music in the coming months. One of my debut singles ‘Brain Delay’ (that is a collaboration with my dear friend Broken Hill) will be coming out this summer on an indie dance label that played a huge role in shaping my sound. I can’t wait until we get to share it with everyone.
