End Overdose And Fentanyl Frontline Bring Harm Reduction To LA County Festivals

Fentanyl Frontline teams up with End Overdose to bring critical harm reduction resources to festivals in LA County throughout 2025.

Festival season is fast approaching, and we’re all making big plans: tickets, travel itineraries, parking passes, and… of course, harm reduction.

Between fun times with old and new friends, and epic sets from your favorite artists, drug overdose should never be part of the coveted festival weekend schedule. That’s why Fentanyl Frontline and End Overdose are joining forces to bring life-saving harm reduction resources, including Naloxone, harm reduction training, and more, to events across Los Angeles County.

Fentanyl Frontline states that the #1 cause of accidental death for the general festival-going demographic – 18- to 45-year-olds – is fentanyl overdose. With 5 out of 10 pills seized by the DEA in 2024 containing fentanyl, it is safe to assume that many of these deaths were caused by ingesting fentanyl unintentionally.

In 2021, End Overdose was launched with a mission to end drug-related overdose deaths through education, medical intervention, and public awareness. In recent years, they have seen their presence grow throughout the festival community through partnerships with promoters, including Insomniac and more. Tens of thousands of attendees have been trained on how to identify opioid overdoses and properly administer Naloxone. Their efforts have been praised by members of the community and music industry and, as of last year, the White House.

The dangers of fentanyl are well-publicized and broadly known by festival-goers at this point, but the resources to practice appropriate harm reduction aren’t always available in the moment. That’s why this partnership between Fentanyl Frontline and End Overdose is so powerful.
