Transmission incoming! Beloved Southern California music festival Lightning in a Bottle is set to return to its home in Kern County for another monumental edition on Memorial Day Weekend (May 21-25). The hype for what’s to come next year has been surging over the past week after social media posts surfaced with lineup teases that tantalized those planning to attend. Today, the Do LaB finally satiated cravings by dropping the full Lightning in a Bottle lineup, and it’s stacked with talent.
John Summit, Khruangbin, Four Tet, Subtronics, and Jamie XX sit atop the first line of artists set to play the upcoming edition of Lightning in a Bottle, but it goes much deeper than that.
There will be highly-anticipated house and techno sets from artists like Sammy Virji, Monolink, The Blessed Madonna, Tinlicker, Francis Mercier, Channel Tres, Sultan + Shepard, Eli & Fur, and salute. The Do LaB has also curated some proper bass from PEEKABOO, Tape B, Hamdi, Hybrid Minds, Flowdan, Bou, and TroyBoi to give you the dose of wubs your heart desires.
Additionally, attendees can also look forward to special bookings like the legendary electronic act Underworld, the return of Claude VonStroke, VNSSA and Nala’s Girl Math, and special guest Jade Cicada. Others, like Azzecca, Mira, Bianca Oblivion, Coco & Breezy, Mary Droppinz, Sicaria, Biianco, and Cesco, are all sure to impress during their sets. And you never know which special guests will show up during the Brownies & Lemonade All Stars set!
There will be more than enough music to keep you stimulated throughout the weekend at Lightning in a Bottle. The three main stages, Lightning, Thunder, and Woogie, will be host to most of the music, but there are many other stages set to release lineups in the coming months. Stages like Grand Artique, Stacks, Compass, and Junkyard will surely have surprises built in.
