Beloved DJ and producer Lady Faith closes out another massive year with her debut on our hard dance mix series, Paradigm Shift!
As the American Hard Dance scene continues to grow in a flourishing landscape of fans who accept harder music and faster tempos, it’s only right to acknowledge the artists who have built a solid foundation. Throughout its short but rich history in the US scene, few artists have proved that hard dance can be successful in the mainstream. One is none other than the veteran Lady Faith.
Since the beginning of her career, Lady Faith has been working to transform the domestic scene from an underground hub into the giant it is destined to be. Her journey is filled with equal parts triumph and setbacks, but Lady Faith has never strayed from her mission. Just as the first time she was exposed to the harder styles, she said she is still “optimistic that hard dance will become more prominent on the biggest stages in the near future. That will mean more potential fans will get to experience [this] glorious sound.”
Despite her success as a key player in the scene today, Lady Faith reminded us that achieving her goals was not easy in the male-dominated industry. “Being a female DJ takes drive and passion. You have to work really hard to get noticed,” she explained.
Lady Faith advises other women seeking to achieve their musical dreams. “Try to find your inspiration, perfect your craft, and make the most of your femininity,” she said. “Be strong and do not let any obstacles get in your way.” Most importantly, Lady Faith notes that “female artists in this business need to stick together and support each other.”
After another massive year including performances at EDC Las Vegas, Lost Lands, Escape Halloween, and headlining shows all over San Francisco and Los Angeles, Lady Faith stopped by to end the year with a bang as she debuts on our hard dance mix series, Paradigm Shift!
