Despite rainy weather, Miami’s homegrown III Points Festival persevered, with massive crowds and electrifying energy keeping the party going.
Miami’s III Points Festival came and went quickly, but its 11th edition left upwards of 50,000 attendees beaming in one of its most exciting years yet. The city is no stranger to music, fun, and dancing, with dozens of weekly events to choose from and relentlessly stacked lineups almost every weekend. Still, when III Points Festival commences and half of Miami’s Wynwood Arts District turns into a festival, it never ceases to impress attendees.
Wynwood was alive with creativity, color, and sound on October 18-19. Since its inception in 2013, III Points has grown to be more than just a music festival; it’s a celebration of Miami’s thriving cultural scene. This year’s event was a testament to its evolution and influence. Mana Wynwood’s gates swept you up into the festival’s unique blend of art, music, and technology, which has become its signature.
Miami’s creative heartbeat was on display with immersive art installations.
What makes III Points more than a music festival is its commitment to the arts and Miami’s local culture. This year, interactive installations and immersive experiences were everywhere, offering festival-goers an opportunity to engage with the city’s creative pulse.
The art at III Points Festival was as big a part of the experience as the music, with details and production that reflected the beauty of it all — even through photographs. This year’s installations were particularly impressive, such as the Black Hole Experience and the incredible, dreamlike Mokiworld setup. The festival’s emphasis on highlighting art in its different forms stood out and made for an experience that those present could only feel.
III Points Festival has always prided itself on its diverse lineup, and this year was no exception.
With over 60 acts across 11 stages, the festival offered a musical journey spanning techno, house, Latin, and more. Heavy hitters such as Mochakk, Vintage Culture, and Sara Landry filled the festival grounds to the brim—the energy and sheer number of people dancing made for a moving sight to see.
There was music for everyone at the festival, with Justice bringing nostalgia, ISOxo showcasing the scene’s future, and Jungle’s live performance hitting the spot for alternative lovers. No matter where you were dancing, it was sure to be a good time.
Local acts and superstars created a perfect fusion of sonic delights.
One of the standout aspects of III Points is how it merges local talent alongside superstar headliners, creating a lineup that truly reflects Miami’s diverse influences. Local electronic acts from the city’s vibrant underground scene also took to the stages, delivering sets that captured the city’s unique rhythm and energy while adding depth and authenticity into the mix.
It was incredible to see Miami artists sharing the bill with global icons like Justice and stars like PAWSA, bridging the gap between homegrown talent and international fame. Each artist brought their own flavor, with giants delivering performances that lived up to their reputations.
The blend of Miami’s rising stars with some of dance music’s most celebrated names playing against the bright walls of Wynwood and a hearty dose of art to tantalize the senses created a special experience. Two days of dancing and enjoying the music left many satisfied and craving their next III Points Festival.
