Alison Wonderland, Seven Lions, and Russell Dickerson are among the headliners for the first-ever Neon City Festival in Downtown Las Vegas.
Come November 22-24, Downtown Las Vegas will be the home of another large-scale music gathering. It’s a free event called Neon City Festival, and its organizers have shared the first handful of names gracing its lineup.
In a large font at the top of the graphic is Alison Wonderland, an Australian starlet perhaps best known for her accessible brand of bass music. Next to her name is that of Neon Trees, a rock band based in Provo, Utah who gained stardom for singles like “Animal” and “1983.”
Country singer Russell Dickerson also appears at the top of the bill — right next to melodic bass mastermind Seven Lions. That’s only scratching the surface of the Neon City Festival bill. The undercard features a further 23 names.
Among them are EDM acts like Krewella, Mr. Carmack, and Mystery Skulls, not to mention rappers like Twista and Bubba Sparxxx and bands like Beauty School Dropout and Lit. Importantly, the lineup graphic leaves off with “and more to be announced…,” suggesting that this is only a phase one lineup announcement.
Neon City Festival will be all ages and free to the general public, according to its website. “Imagine a festival with no fences, where you can wander through a captivating mix of performances, from thrilling live shows and epic fireworks to dazzling laser spectacles and cutting-edge art exhibits,” reads part of the “About Us” section.
Las Vegas’ historic Fremont Street will play host to the inaugural Neon City Festival. The festivities will include 3-D graphics on the Fremont Street Experience Viva Vision screen, among other immersive activations.
