Mysterious French DJ and producer Malaa is shaking things up for his upcoming album release by revealing a new alias, Malaa’s Alter Ego.

Known for his genre-defying sound and electric stage presence, he’s captivated crowds worldwide while putting his mysterious nature at the forefront. For his upcoming release, Malaa is switching things up by fighting with himself under a new alias, Malaa’s Alter Ego, and the battle between the two has just begun.

An intense rivalry has already started as Malaa’s Alter Ego hit hard from the jump by calling out Malaa through a video on his now-cleared-out Instagram account. The forthcoming album is due for release in November and pits the two aliases against each other. The bass house heavy sound that many have come to love from Malaa over the years will be displayed in the first helping of tracks while Malaa’s Alter Ego takes the reins on the second disc. There, the newborn alias will break sonic boundaries with plenty of twists and turns along the way. A tour surrounding the album’s release has also been teased, and it is set to offer a live show that’s unlike anything Malaa has done yet as he and Malaa’s Alter Ego go head-to-head behind the decks.
