Wouter Achterberg Drops a Hypnotic Summer Mix

**After releasing his Mutations EP on Purified Records, Wouter Achterberg dropped off a fantastic mix to h**elp you find your groove this summer.

Wouter Achterberg might be one of the fresher faces in the scene, but he’s quickly coming into his own with some stunning releases in the realms of progressive house and melodic house and techno. This Amsterdam-based DJ and producer began to pick up some attention in 2023 with releases on Polyptych’s Limited and Noir imprints, and this year has seen him start to soar even higher.

In January, Wouter Achterberg’s “Fool Me” found a home on Purified Records’ Fragments compilation series that showcases emerging talent. He continued his artistic evolution by gracing Siona Records with “Afterburn” in late June, but this month has seen him return to the Nora En Pure-led imprint for another dose of melodic house and techno tunes. The Mutations EP dropped on July 12 and offers two fresh soundscapes for listeners to explore. But that wasn’t all he had in store for listeners, as he just spun up a mix to showcase his latest tunes and influences.

To celebrate my new ‘Mutations’ EP on Nora En Pure’s Purified Records, I am super happy to present a guest mix for EDM Identity! I have compiled a mix with deep, hypnotic sounds, with a powerful drive to it. I have featured many of my favourite producers, as well as my some of my own tracks, including the EP title track. I hope you enjoy it!
