SUBSTANCE is set to open in July, giving dance music lovers a new, immersive venue with cutting-edge production and more in Downtown Las Vegas.
Those who have watched Las Vegas over the years know that change is woven into the city’s history. Casinos, restaurants, nightclubs, and more have come and gone over the years, making way for new, exciting experiences for those who visit Sin City and those who call it home. Entertainment continues to be king, and SUBSTANCE Las Vegas, a new venue from RVLTN Events that’s set to open this summer, is gearing up to be the latest go-to for live events.
SUBSTANCE is an 18,000-square-foot entertainment venue that will be located on the second floor of the Neonopolis Complex in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas’ Fremont District. Those making their way into the venue will be treated to a dystopian, post-apocalyptic warehouse setting, with top-tier production, a cutting-edge audio/visual system, and one of the largest LED installations in the area. Not to mention immersive aesthetics by graffiti and digital artist Gear Duran.
The venue’s partners, Marcel Correa and Joe Borusiewicz, have long been involved in the Las Vegas nightlife scene, notably as partners behind RVLTN Events. They’ve taken their years of insight to bring SUBSTANCE to life. Their plan is to buck the trend of nightlife norms in Sin City, addressing issues like strict dress codes, long lines, poor sound quality, parking fees, and more with this new space for music lovers.
While RVLTN Events will champion this space, the brand is also working with other promoters like Insomniac Events to bring quality artists to SUBSTANCE weekly. Electronic music isn’t the only style that will boom from the venue’s speakers, either. On Saturdays, Altura Presents will transform the space into a Latin lover’s dream, while other shows, including rock, reggae, and more, have been teased.
SUBSTANCE is set to open on Friday, July 12, with beloved house duo Walker & Royce helping kick off the festivities. Boombox Cartel will make his way to the space on July 19, Crankdat is set to perform on July 26, and KSHMR is slated to dominate the decks on August 9. Tickets are on sale now via their official website.
