Anabel Englund, James Patterson, and Cherry Tooth will accompany J. Worra at Meow Wolf Denver next month.
Not all of Meow Wolf Denver‘s recent announcements have been doom and gloom. The immersive art venue will continue to host events, many of which appeal to ravers in particular, and it’s announced the full lineup for house music star J. Worra‘s takeover of their Danceportation event series on June 1.
J. Worra herself was named DJ Mag‘s 2019 Breakthrough Music Producer of the Year. She’s released on labels like Never Worry Records, Sink or Swim, and Realm Records in addition to performing at gatherings as big as EDC Las Vegas, Lightning in a Bottle, and Coachella.
Also billed for the June 1 installment of Danceportation is singer-songwriter-DJ-producer Annabel Englund. More than a decade into her career, her debut 2020 album, Messing with Magic, set her up to capitalize ever since the pandemic drew to a close, rewarding her with a whirlwind of opportunities.
As a J. Worra mentee, Seattle DJ and producer Cherry Tooth also makes a lot of sense on this bill. Last year, he released his debut single, the dark and sultry “Way Too Good.” It’s all been uphill from there.
James Patterson, a Grammy-nominated multihyphenate who previously made waves as one half of the New York City duo The Knocks, also appears on the June 1 Danceportation lineup. He debuted as a solo artist in 2021 with the single “No More Parties,” which appeared on his own ADA/Warner Music imprint, Black Clay Music.
The Danceportation J. Worra Takeover’s undercard includes locals like Mr. Frick, Serenity Soleil, Sky Alizee, Maro, and DJ Sauce.
Tickets are currently on sale for J. Worra’s Danceportation takeover on June 1. Purchase yours and find additional information on the Meow Wolf website.
