This summer, Kaskade, SOFI TUKKER, RL Grime, Peekaboo, and more will grace the stages of Nashville’s bass and house music festival, Deep Tropics.
The sixth edition of Deep Tropics Music, Art, & Style Festival is set to return to Bicentennial Park in Nashville on August 16-17. Catering to house and bass music enthusiasts, the festival is organized by Full Circle Presents and supported by the nonprofit organization Deep Culture. Their mission is to establish the event as the greenest festival in the US. Virtually everything encountered at the festival, from artwork to infrastructure, is either recyclable, compostable, or reusable. Their commitment has led to significantly reduced festival waste sent to landfills, achieving diversion rates as high as 96%.
In addition to all of the green initiatives, the Deep Tropics team always knows what electronic music fans are craving. Kaskade is set to headline with a Redux set alongside SOFFI TUKKER with a DJ set. The groovy goodness doesn’t stop there, with plenty more for house heads to shuffle the day and night away at the Meru Amphitheater, like Elderbrook, Nora En Pure, Cassian, Malone, and Subrinse. There’s never any shortage of bass music at Bicentennial Park, with bass lovers getting their fill from RL Grime, PEEKABOO, Tape B, Cool Customer, Taiki Nulight, Rohaan, Yoko, and more this year.
Deep Tropics will also host various educational workshops that include topics like regenerative agriculture, sustainable fashion, renewable energy, and holistic wellness practices. Attendees can also participate in yoga, sound healing, meditation, and more. Be sure to stay locked into the Deep Tropics social media channels to stay informed about official after-parties and more.
