The 2024 edition of Tomorrowland Brasil will adopt the flagship event’s 2023 theme.
The 2024 festival announcements keep on coming, with Tomorrowland Brasil next in line. A little rain didn’t prevent revelers from enjoying themselves last year, meaning that the gathering will return to Parque Maeda in Itu, São Paulo from October 11-13 with creative elements that diehard fans of the global event brand will surely recognize.
Last year’s Tomorrowland Belgium theme of “Ascendo” will be adopted by the organizers of Tomorrowland Brasil 2024. It will turn Parque Maeda “into a magical destination high on the horizon,” according to a press release.
This includes the Ascendo mainstage that debuted in the flagship Belgium event last year. Towering over attendees at 141 feet tall and 525 feet wide, it includes 2,428 square feet of video tiles, 1,050 lamps, 230 speakers and subs, 30 lasers, 48 fountains, and 15 waterfall pumps.
Tomorrowland first took place in 2005 in Boom, Belgium and attracted a relatively modest 10,000 attendees. Over the years, it has ballooned to a massive that routinely draws over 400,000 attendees with artists programmed across 14 stages. In December of last year, organizers announced that the Tomorrowland Belgium 2024 theme would be “Life,” and it would be accompanied by a novel.
2015 marked the first installment of Tomorrowland Brasil, and it took place again the following year. After a six-year hiatus due to economic instability in the country, it returned in 2023.
No lineup details have been announced for Tomorrowland Brasil 2024 at the time of writing. Last year’s edition of the event featured headliners such as Jessica Audiffred, Afrojack, Indira Paganotto, Alok, Da Tweekaz, Tiësto, and Martin Garrix.
Pre-registration is now open for tickets, which go on sale on May 2. Find more information and secure your passes on the Tomorrowland Brasil website.
