Disclosure, SOFI TUKKER, HVOB, Danilo Plessow, and more are set to play Cuervo’s Akamba festival when it returns to Tequila, Mexico, on May 4.
Cuervo might be best known worldwide for its tequila, but something special has been brewing with its very own music festival, Akamba. First launched in 2018, Akamba Music Festival celebrates music, art, and gastronomy while shining a light on Mexican culture and environmental consciousness. This year, the festival will return to Tequila, located in the Mexican state of Jalisco, on May 4 for its fifth edition, giving attendees the opportunity to dance among the agave fields once again.
Akamba Music Festival is bringing a stacked lineup of artists to take the stage throughout the night. Dance music titans Disclosure are set to headline the festivities, along with some other standout performers such as SOFI TUKKER, HVOB, Lewis Ofman, Kid Francescoli, Sofia Kourtesis, and Danilo Plessow, among others.
Music isn’t the only aspect of Akamba, as the festival offers an Art Circuit that will feature sculptures, murals, and more inspired by agave culture, a delicious lineup of food options that will satiate any craving you might have, and, of course, plenty of tequila.
While GA tickets are available for purchase, those looking for an enhanced experience will want to opt for one of the VIP options. Comfort, Silver, and Cristalino all offer upgraded access to VIP areas, but the two latter options include table service and more. An official bus is available for transportation, but the Akamba Express Train is the best way to travel to the festival as it departs from Guadalajara and features DJ sets, food, cocktails, and more.
