Judgemxnt Jolts Everyone with an Electrifying Mix

UK-based DJ and producer Judgemxnt just dropped off his debut single on WALL Academy and is celebrating in style with an electric mix.

The UK has birthed countless artists into the dance music scene over the past four decades, and it seems that even more continue to begin their ascent to stardom with each passing year. One of the freshest to find their footing is Judgemxnt, but his beginnings in the music scene began long ago. At age 8, he picked up his first electric guitar, and by the age of 11, he was playing with synthesizers, which led to his immersion in the digital realm of electronic music production.

Judgemxnt spent a decade honing his skills in the studio, crafting his signature sound along the way. Last year saw tracks like “Late Nights” and “Love Me” begin to surface from this rising star before he closed out the year with “Call to Me,” and it was clear more would come in 2024. That notion came to fruition on January 19 when Judgemxnt released his latest single, “Lighting,” on WALL Academy. The track features sultry vocals at the forefront before dropping into a groovy, head-bopping bassline filled with vibrant elements that take your mind to heaven.

After the release of “Lightning,” Judgemxnt looked to celebrate the new tune by spinning an hour-long guest mix that’s filled to the brim with tunes that have influenced his style. Found inside its runtime are classics like Mat Zo and Porter Robinson’s “Easy,” along with other selections from artists like SIDEPIECE, Aaron Hibell, OOTORO, KREAM, Bexxie, and more.

To celebrate the release of “Lightning,” I was given the opportunity to present an hour of music. This mix was such a difficult endeavour to tackle – with so much great work out there these days, it was impossible to showcase it all in a single hour, but within these 60 minutes, I aimed to capture as much of the music that either inspired or impressed me from as many different facets of dance music I could manage. I had a lot of fun doing this and I’m sure that translates across to you through the song selections – it’s a blend of all my favourite genres and flavours.
