Spinnin’ Records has been named #1 Music Label of the Year for 2023 by 1001 Tracklists for the fifth consecutive year.
Widely known for its long history of elevating the standard in dance music, Spinnin’ Records continues to set the blueprint for dance music labels to this day. Founded in 1999, the imprint aimed high from the start, shaping an era of dance music by platforming major artists that would go on to become household names including David Guetta, Tiësto, and Timmy Trumpet.
Today, Spinnin’ Records continues to foster a community for all dance music lovers by keeping up with the everchanging landscape of dance music and hosting a range of releases, from Ship Wrek and DLMT‘s “Jumpstarter” to KSHMR‘s “Tears On The Dancefloor.” That ability to adapt and keep their finger on the pulse is what constantly brings Spinnin’ Records up for consideration for honorable titles such as 1001Tracklists‘ “#1 Music Label of the Year.” This year, not only were they nominated, but the reputable music label won the title for the fifth time in a row.
Jorn Heringa, A&R Director of Spinnin’ Records“We’re extremely happy to get this prestigious accolade from 1001Tracklists! We don’t take winning this more than once for granted; it’s a great achievement for everyone at Spinnin’ Records. We can’t do this without the very best music from our artists and our world-leading team, who put together hugely innovative and creative campaigns to get artists’ music to fans old and new.”
As part of their #AStateOfDanceMusic campaign, 1001 Tracklists reviewed the moments that defined dance music in 2023, including artists, releases, music labels, genres, and radio shows. Unsurprisingly, these highlights brought Spinnin’ Records to the top of the list, once again earning it the distinction of #1 Music Label of the Year. With five consecutive years in their pocket, we know Spinnin’ Records will continue to surpass our expectations and do great things in 2024.
