A.M.R just released his latest album on Monstercat Silk, Familiar Faces, and just dropped off another gift for his fans in the form of a gorgeous fall mix.
Qatari DJ and producer A.M.R has become renowned for bringing memorable progressive house releases to the scene that sweep listeners off their feet. His uplifting soundscapes have found a home on labels including the likes of Anjunadeep and This Never Happened, but his most recent adventure saw him return to the Monstercat Silk family. This time around, A.M.R delivered one of his most impressive works to date, his sophomore album Familiar Faces, which brought forth some impressive solo tunes and stunning collaborations for fans to immerse themselves in.
From the opening tracks “Little Stars” and “Holding On Is Human” to the album’s closing run of “Midnight At Casa 24” and “I Hear You,” you can feel the emotion that was put into every last second of Familiar Faces. It’s safe to say that A.M.R was successful in his mission to create a body of work that ties human connections with the digital realm, but he wasn’t quite done yet. Today, he’s opened another door to his world with a fall mix that shows off some of these tunes, along with other gems that fit in this sonic realm perfectly.
Speaking about the mix, A.M.R said, “I put this mix together to showcase some of my personal favorite songs on my new album, ‘Familiar Faces,’ and included a few recent discoveries that I felt complemented the overall journey of the set.” Those additional tunes arrive from the minds of other artists who have made an impact in the progressive house space lately, including the likes of Nils Hoffmann, PROFF, Enamour, and more.
