Times are tough for many in the scene, and Electric Zoo is helping everyone out with a new, low-cost tier of tickets and layaway plans.
Between massive layoffs to higher costs of goods, there’s no doubt that the economic conditions in the US right now are challenging as many people continue to try to find their footing post-pandemic. This has led some to cut off experiences deemed as a “luxury,” which includes music festivals whose prices have soared higher than ever before as the industry attempts to recoup funds from the years of being able to host their shows. But bucking that trend is the renowned New York festival Electric Zoo.
Instead of increasing costs, Electric Zoo, which was acquired by Avant Gardner last year, is putting its community first. They know how important it is to gather with friends to dance the day and night away – so to make that more accessible to everyone, they’ve announced a brand-new tier of reduced GA passes for those who are looking for something fun to do over Labor Day Weekend.
From now until June 2, Electric Zoo is offering introductory three-day GA passes for the 2023 edition at $179 (+tax and fees). Not only that but these passes can be secured for $34 down payment on a layaway plan that will run into August. And if you happened to purchase a pass to the festival already this year, have no fear because they’ve thought of you as well, with the difference in your balance from the previous sale being applied to your wristband as cashless credit to spend on food and drinks at this year’s edition.
Stay tuned for more information to come from Electric Zoo, including this year’s theme and lineup. Head over to their official website for more details and to grab your introductory passes.
