Q-dance revealed the final details for this year’s edition of Defqon.1, including the set times, new specials, and other exciting experiences!
With less than one month left until Defqon.1, Weekend Warriors are gearing up for one of the best editions the world has ever seen. The excitement has built up throughout Q-dance’s live streams, The Kick-Off and The Release, which covered everything from the anthem creators, theme, lineup, and so much more. Today, Q-dance put together the final piece of the puzzle during The Warming Up, where they revealed set times, new specials, the highly anticipated announcement regarding Sefa’s involvement at Defqon.1, and so much more.
First of all, Weekend Warriors can finally create their schedules with freshly released set times. With over 300 artists set to play at the festival, there will undoubtedly be many set clashes, so make sure to plan ahead with the interactive timetable to catch your favorite artists and special performances like The Spotlight with Rebelion, Devin Wild: The Innergame, or “D:/CHILDHOOD/TRAUMA/GPF/LIVE/THEPIEPSHOW2023.WAV.”
The fun doesn’t stop there, as campers will get to experience the madness that goes down at The Wasted Lands once the sun sets over Biddinghuizen. The party lives on with three silent rave areas with unique performers, including a special 30 Years of Rob GEE set. In addition, the Silver, Magenta, and Blue stages will be open after-hours to keep the party going late into the night.
As if Defqon.1 Weekend Festival wasn’t already stacked to the brim with unique experiences like Saturday’s POWER HOUR, the Closing Ceremony with DJ The Prophet, and the Warrior Workout, Q-dance added even more fun with brand-new specials such as Hardcore Confessions with Audiofreq on Friday morning. Hosted at the Black stage, Audiofreq and a few lucky fans will participate in a “special service” to confess their darkest rave sins.
While exploring the festival grounds, Weekend Warriors will be able to search for the smallest Dutch café ever where X-Qlusive Holland acts will perform in a unique setting. On the final day of Defqon.1, the path of greatness takes an emotional turn, starting with the peaceful sounds of the Open Air-Bed concert with JDX.
Defqon.1 wouldn’t feel like home without the inclusion of the fastest-rising Frenchcore artist of all time, Sefa. This year, Sefa is set to bring the Defqon.1 Theatre to life, which will feature a brand-new show in a highly intimate setting. Due to limited space, Sefa will be performing about 20 times throughout the weekend. Be sure to snag your tickets starting June 27 at 13:00 CEST (4:00 AM PT) in the Q-dance app to witness this new experience.
The festival mode also makes a return in the Q-dance app to help out Weekend Warriors on their journey to greatness. This year, the app includes an interactive festival map with icons for important facilities, food courts plus their menus, and a find-my-friend function where you can drop a pin at your location and share it with a friend. In addition, you can do much more, like book a barber, get your nails done, or get your spot for Brunch at the Red stage in the experience shop.
For fans across the globe that can’t make it in person, Q-dance has you covered with live streams throughout the weekend that will be available in the Q-dance app through your Dediqated Membership or PPV. All weekend, the Red, Blue, and UV will broadcast video streams, while every other stage at Defqon.1 will run audio streams for your party needs.
