Move Those "Dancing Feet" with Kygo and DNCE

Try to sit still with this new Kygo and DNCE collaboration, “Dancing Feet,” featuring a fun, ’80s-inspired music video.

Two worlds of dance-pop collide when superstars Kygo and Joe Jonas‘ DNCE join forces for a fun collaboration. “Dancing Feet” is out now on Columbia/RCA Records and is not only Kygo’s first release of the year but marks the long-awaited return of DNCE. This track is soaked in funk and disco-inspired nostalgia. Strong piano chords and a blaring horns section will get you up and dancing.

“Joe and I met years ago in Las Vegas and have wanted to find the right song to work on together for a while,” Kygo said. “When I started working on ‘Dancing Feet’ it immediately felt like a special song. I definitely had DNCE in the back of my head, because I felt like this song was a perfect mix between my sound and the DNCE sound. I just felt like it just made sense. A few weeks later Joe and I were in the studio together in LA and finally had a song together that we both really loved!”

With the upbeat collaboration comes an equally fun music video. Shot in Miami with grainy film filters to set the ’80s nostalgia, Kygo, Joe Jonas and the other members of DNCE are valet and pool boys at The Palm Tree Resort, taking joy rides and playing tennis during the day. Then, the sun sets on this paradise which gives way to a colorful dance floor and confetti.

We wanted to reference a lot of iconic 80s movies, which the song has the similarity and inspiration… Kind of a nod to ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ moment. Taking the car for a joy ride… It’s a little bit of everything in there. And some Easter eggs as well that you have to look out for.
