To celebrate his latest release, “Waiting All Night,” Sikdope is awarding a scholarship to a student who uses English as a second language.
Times are tough for everyone right now, and especially for college students with skyrocketing stress levels and piling debt. Bold.org understands the plight of those at college right now and is doing everything it can to help minimize student debts. One of those ways is by teaming up with public figures for scholarship opportunities, recently linking up with EDM giant 3LAU and now Polish producer Sikdope has joined in as well.
In commemoration of his new single, “Waiting All Night,” Sikdope is awarding a $3,000 “Music Is The Cure” scholarship to a student studying in the United States who uses English as a second language. This specific struggle is one that he knows well, having been unable to learn English until he was 17. Even though he was involved in the music scene from a young age, it wasn’t until after he began to learn the language that his career truly blossomed and the reach of his music grew exponentially around the globe.
The Sikdope “Music Is The Cure” scholarship application is available to apply for from now until August 1. Anyone who is fresh out of high school, undergraduates, and graduate students can submit their application, which includes two essay questions to answer. The winner will be announced on August 16.
