Insomniac and Pulse Events have announced that EDC Korea is set to make its return to Inspire Entertainment Resort, just outside of Seoul, on October 3-4 this year.
Insomniac has continued to gain serious momentum in Asia over the past few years. Prior to the pandemic, editions of their flagship festivals, Electric Daisy Carnival and Escape Halloween, graced South Korea, and now the former has begun to return in full force. Last year, EDC Korea kicked back into gear, with Insomniac partnering with Pulse Events to bring the show to life, and 2026 will see the two promoters run it back for another round of action in Incheon, just outside Seoul.
Mark your calendars for October 3-4, as EDC Korea has shifted from its original spring dates to the fall this year. The change to October is expected to offer more pleasant weather for attendees, along with easier travel, as it falls during Korea’s National Foundation Day and China’s National Golden Week. Although the dates are shifting, the festival will still offer a larger-than-life experience at Inspire Entertainment Resort, featuring top-tier production, immersive art installations, and a lineup teeming with international talent.
Those planning to attend will want to get passes during the Future Owl Presale, which begins on February 13 for those in Korea (or on February 12 for those in North America). Three-day GA passes start at ₩190.000 ($129.99 USD), while VIP passes offer an elevated experience at ₩290.000 ($199.99 USD). VIP passholders will receive an elevated experience that includes expedited entry lines into the festival, exclusive food and bar options, dedicated dance areas, private restrooms, and more.
Last year’s EDC Korea featured a stacked lineup, including artists such as Skrillex, Illenium, Dom Dolla, Peggy Gou, Paul Van Dyk, I Hate Models, and Martin Garrix. Stay tuned for this year’s lineup to be revealed in the coming months.
