Afternoon Umbrella Friends has shared the full lineup for Umbrella Weekend, which is returning to Yucaipa, California this spring.
Umbrella Weekend has come a long way since its humble beginnings as a 40-person reunion launched in 2017. And ahead of its eight annual edition set to take place in Yucaipa, Southern California from April 2-6, Afternoon Umbrella Friends have shared the full lineup, which sits at more than 100 acts.
Written in the largest typeface at the top of the graphic are German ghettotech artist 1905, Bay Area house and techno mainstay Ardalan, Los Angeles rapper Benni Ola, and San Diego up-and-comer Broken Hill. They’re followed by German electro figurehead DJ Pirna, Desert Hearts mainstay Porky, rising talent RICHE, and Bay Area bass musician Snuffy.
As you may have gathered, the Umbrella Weekend 2026 lineup prioritizes music quality over hyped-up names. It also bills artists like Athena, Techno Tupac, Kale, CEEDs, Magda Halina, Kieran Ishimaru, Tchilt, S.I.M, Sapien, and Will On Cloud Nine, not to mention that it more broadly offers “music,” “community,” “art,” “wellness,” and “connection.”
Umbrella Weekend took place in Apple Valley during its first three years of operation. The 2020 edition, dubbed “The Last Party on Earth,” drew roughly 350 attendees to the Mojave Desert. Following a shift to live stream events in 2021, the event relocated to Yucaipa in 2022.
The Umbrella Weekend 2026 lineup marks a significant step up in the growing festival’s programming. To put it in perspective, fewer than 70 names appeared on the lineup for the 2025 outing.
Four-day passes for Umbrella Weekend currently cost $204 including fees. Purchase yours via Shotgun, and find additional information on the Afternoon Umbrella Friends website.
