The Breakaway Music Festival 2026 lineup features talent like Rezz, Lilly Palmer, GRiZ, Disco Lines, and Mersiv, all set to perform in Colombus.
By now, more than a dozen cities play host to Breakaway Music Festival every year. But it all started in Colombus in 2013. It only makes sense that organizers would pull out all the stops for the gathering’s triumphant return to the Historic Crew Stadium Festival Grounds from May 29-30. Judging by this year’s lineup, that’s exactly what they did.
Standouts on Breakaway Music Festival’s Ohio lineup are live instrumental bass music artist GRiZ, rising techno star Lilly Palmer, house music breakthrough artist Disco Lines, and heavy dubstep force of nature Mersiv. Tropical house poster boy Kygo is also on the bill, as is midtempo bass cult leader Rezz.
That’s not all. Between artists like Dennett, GUDFELLA, HAYLA, Devault, Vandelux, and YDG, a broad swath of the dance music spectrum has been covered by Breakaway’s vigilant talent buyers. The festival will also provide a platform for deserving locals 2LØT, Stoney, TANO, and Verybad.
When the first Breakaway Music Festival went off without a hitch, its founders may not have known that they would go on to adapt it to dance music markets across the US. Now, 13 years later, they routinely host gatherings of the same name in Minnesota, Northern California, Tampa, Atlanta, and Dallas, among other locations. The brand has also expanded to promote concerts and club nights under the Breakaway Presents banner. Thus far, 2026 looks to be another year of sizable growth for Breakaway.
