Blklght Drops Off A House-Fueled Winter Mix

Rising DJ, producer, and Twitch streamer blklght is gearing up for a solid run in 2026 and dropped off a mix to help you start your year off on the right foot.

Forward-thinking artists in the scene, like blklght, continue to help make its future brighter than ever. This dynamic artist, who calls Los Angeles home, has made a name for himself in recent years with standout performances at nightclubs and festivals, as well as in the virtual world on Twitch, which have helped him grow a community along the way. Trance, house, techno, and drum and bass are just some of the genres that blklght spins during his sets and produces in his studio, and after a fantastic run in 2025, he’s on an uphill trajectory for 2026.

Last year, the scene really took notice of blklght. On the performance front, he played EDC Las Vegas and various shows up and down the California coast. He also became a host on the newly revamped Insomniac Radio, taking the reins on the Impact channel every weekday from 5pm to 7pm PT. Yet that wasn’t all for blklght, as he continued to flex his love for all things dance music by producing tunes like “Lean On Me” with Drew Raines, alongside a number of edits available on his Patreon.

Now, blklght is riding that wave of success into 2026. To start the year off on the right foot, he’s already dropped off edits of tracks like “Resonate” while showcasing a sensational mashup of “Ray Of Solar” and “Misbehave.” He also dropped off a mix for the Winter Waveforms series that’s filled to the brim with quality tunes to help you find your groove during the chilly months.

This mix is all my own originals, remixes, and edits. There’s also a bunch of unreleased music in there that’s coming out over the next few months. A lot of these unreleased tunes were ones I produced over the years and have been part of my journey, which is now primarily headed in the direction of drum and bass, but I’m still a multi-genre artist at my core. These next few releases will be part of my ‘Origins’ series that showcases what led me to my current sound.
