EDC Thailand was so nice that Insomniac is hosting it twice in 2026. The festival is set to return for a second round at Rhythm Park in Phuket in December.

It’s only been hours since the final beats dropped and fireworks were shot off at EDC Thailand this year, but Insomniac is already looking toward the future for its next round. While it would usually be another full year for a festival this size to make its grand return, the timeline has shifted up by a month. That’s right—EDC Thailand will take place twice in 2026, as it’s set to make another massive splash at Rhythm Park on December 18-20.

While January is typically considered one of the best months to visit Thailand, December, which also falls within the region’s dry season, offers the same perfect weather for dancing under the electric sky. While details are limited, Insomniac has revealed that the festival will feature a run of official pre-parties and after-parties, along with other nonstop events beyond the festival throughout Phuket. A new All-Access Experience Pass will also be offered, granting access to the Thursday Night Official Opening Beach Party and the daily parties on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

“We carefully considered the new EDC Thailand dates and hope these adjustments will make it easier for many of our festival travelers,” said Pasquale Rotella, Insomniac Founder. “Scheduling the festival in January posed challenges for some who had just returned home from holiday and New Year breaks, making it difficult to embark on another adventure just weeks after. By moving EDC Thailand to December, we align the event with a time when many people already have time off, allowing families to plan trips together or friends to enjoy a quick getaway, all while ensuring they can return home for the holidays. Plus, the weather is a bit cooler during this time, which is an added bonus. We envision Thailand evolving into a premier destination for music enthusiasts, much like Ibiza and other music destinations.”

Hotel EDC is also slated to return later this year. These hotel packages give Headliners a fully immersive experience during EDC Thailand, offering exclusive parties, unique activities, transportation options, and more.

The lineup for EDC Thailand’s second edition in 2026 has yet to be revealed. This most recent iteration, held this past weekend, featured a laundry list of top-tier artists in the scene. This included Zedd, Porter Robinson, Sub Focus, Gareth Emery, Nina Kraviz, Armin van Buuren, deadmau5, Chase & Status, Lilly Palmer, Sara Landry, SVDDEN DEATH, and AFROJACK. Stay tuned for

The Future Owl sale for EDC Thailand in December 2026 kicks off on Friday, January 23, at 10am ICT (that’s January 22 at 7pm PT for those in the United States). GA passes start at ฿7,090 ($229), while VIP passes begin at ฿13,390 ($399). Head to the official website for more details and to make your purchase.
