The Consciencia theme will debut at Tomorrowland’s flagship Belgian festival before traveling to events in Thailand and Brazil.
Tomorrowland has introduced the theme that will guide the branding and production elements of its upcoming namesake festivals. It goes by the name Consciencia, and it contemplates a universe whose fundamental framework is rooted in emotion.
According to what Consciencia lore is available at this early stage, six distinct feelings hold primacy in the fictional universe. These are love, anger, joy, wonder, desire, and sadness. “Together, they create a realm that feels both otherworldly and deeply human, a place where emotions become landscapes, and imagination takes form,” according to event organizer We Are One World.
As with every Tomorrowland theme in recent years, Consciencia will inspire a fantasy novel that expounds upon the story; The Legend of Consciencia is “expected around May.” Then, the theme will come to life at Tomorrowland’s flagship festival in Boom, Belgium from July 17–19 and 24–26, 2026, the debut of Tomorrowland Thailand from December 11-13, 2026, and next year’s edition of Tomorrowland Brasil from April 30 – May 2, 2027.
Tomorrowland debuted in Boom, Belgium in 2005, attracting roughly 10,000 dance music fans. The festival, which now routinely draws upwards of 400,000 attendees, introduced its first theme, Masker, in 2009, publishing the first accompanying novel, The Rise of Ascendo, in 2023.
Tomorrowland has yet to announce lineup details for any of the aforementioned festivals at the time of writing. Meanwhile, Tomorrowland Winter’s lineup has been out since November, with artists like Charlotte de Witte, Alok, and Netsky slated to perform in the French Alps.
Tickets to the Belgian and Brazilian festivals are currently on sale to accountholders, with those of the Thai festival to go live in the coming months. Sign up on the Tomorrowland website.
