With just days to go until the end of the year, Maesic swung by to deliver one last dose of warmth to carry you into 2026 in the form of a fantastic afro house-fueled mix.
London-born, Paris-based DJ and producer Maesic has shown that he’s one of the most versatile producers in the dance music scene since making his debut in 2018. Dig into his discography, and you’ll unearth tracks from a range of house styles that have found a home on labels including Night Service Only, Astralwerks, Ultra, Nervous Records, Higher Ground, Confession, and more.
Recent years have proven to be even more memorable for Maesic. His release on Helix Records, “Life is Simple (Move Your Body),” landed in March. This updated afro house-fueled version of the Marshall Jefferson classic dominated the charts throughout the year, yet it wasn’t the only gem that he dropped. Other standouts included two collaborations with TRYM, “Vacilando” and “Nazar,” as well as “RIPSAW” with TABU and “Nothing Is Real” with Gene Farris and Matt Sassari.
Maesic has also continued to impress crowds around the globe during this time. He’s slated to take the stage at Estufa Fria in Lisbon on New Year’s Eve, before returning to North American soil for a run of shows that will take him through Park City, Whistler, Nashville, and Los Angeles in the first month of the year. He’s also slated to perform at Tomorrowland Winter in March, marking a massive moment for this rising star.
As 2025 comes to a close, Maesic has set his sights on what’s to come next year and dropped off a mix for the Winter Waveforms series. “This is a new mix filled up with a bunch of fresh IDs ready to enter the new year in power,” said Maesic about the mix. Found inside its runtime are tunes from Genario Nvilla and Notre Dame, along with a flurry of his collaborations with artists like Disco Lines, TABU, Kilimanjaro, and Samson, some of which are yet to be released.
