Electronic music collective Soulection has officially announced the artists taking charge of the imprint’s 15-hour Club Space takeover for its 15th anniversary.
Since its inception in 2011, notable electronic music collective Soulection has stayed true to its mission to serve as a “borderless, genre-bending musical movement.” Starting out as an independent radio show, the novel imprint struck a deal in 2015 to become an official Apple Music 1 radio show on the network’s 24/7 Apple Music 1 station.
Soulection skyrocketed alongside its initially small but mighty artist roster as one of the most sonically innovative electronic record labels of the 21st century. Drawing from trap-leaning EDM, hip-hop, R&B, and dubstep, Soulection’s founding artist circle — Mr. Carmack, Sam Gellaitry, Kaytranada, GoldLink, Tom Misch, Sango, and others — began infiltrating the mainstream festival circuit, catapulting the once-niche collective onto the global stage.
In newly announced plans, Soulection will kick off a two-day event at Miami’s world-famous Club Space in January, honoring 15 years of the label with a marathon 15-hour celebration. Soulection’s first-ever full takeover of the esteemed venue will commence at 11pm on Friday, January 23. Music will resume the following day, Saturday, January 24 at 2pm.
In even more recent news, the promoter team has officially released the event’s highly anticipated artist lineup. Headlined by label founder and creative visionary Joe Kay, Soulection: 15 Years has tapped the likes of founding member Sango, Jayda G, Kokoroko, Benji B, J Rocc, and Ape Drums b2b Sparrow, among others, to take charge over 15 hours of nonstop music across three rooms.
Tickets to the showcase are currently available on the official event website, where fans can also sign up for impending news regarding three additional anniversary events to be held in London, Johannesburg, and Los Angeles.
